Friday: School was alright. After school, I went to Tanforan with Nathan because he wanted to buy shoes. I walked home. Later, Bri stopped by my house before getting his haircut. Whatta cool guy. After that, I went to Joaquin’s house to sleep over for the Cement IVs that came out today. I hadn’t seen him in a while so it was cooool. Me, Bri, and Drexon slept over.
Saturday: So everyone’s been asking me what time I woke up to go to the mall, and I’ve been telling them 5:30 so I don’t look like an idiot. It was actually 4:30. Lmao. We were first in line, and believe it or not, people actually were coming that early(around 5), but the mall didn’t open until 7 so we had some Starbucks first. Quez came around 6:30. After the mall opened we ran to Finish Line, lol. Waited another hour and a half just to find out that all of our sizes were sold out, so I had to get a half-size up(which I’m currently trying to trade for an 8… hit me). Same with Bri. Joaquin and Quez weren’t too lucky though, and tried to line up at Foot Locker for em but they eventually sold out too. Shoe Palace and Shiekh were out of the picture.
So yeah, me and Bri ended up getting em. Quez got em for his brother. I never thought that I’d actually line up for shoes, but it was actually pretty fun. I’d have probably been bored to death if I had gone by myself, though. I felt bad for Joaquin, Quez, and Drexon because Joaquin set the whole thing up for us, Quez seemed really sad, and Drexon had to wake up early with us and wait through the whole thing even though he wasn’t going to buy anything.
Anyways, me, Bri, and Drexon went back to Joaquin’s house for a little bit. Drexon left around noon and I left around 6:00, before Bri. Went to Daly City to pick up my brother, and then eventually home. I’m tired as hell, but I think it was really worth it. I’m definitely ready to do it again for the Raptor VIIs in September.
